Mark 9:33-37 (NKJV) 33 Then He came to Capernaum. And when He was in the house He asked them, “What was it you disputed among yourselves on the road?” 34 But they kept silent, for on the road they had disputed among themselves who would be the greatest. 35 And He sat down, called the twelve, and said to them, “If anyone desires to be first, he shall be last of all and servant of all.” 36 Then He took a little child and set him in the midst of them. And when He had taken him in His arms, He said to them, 37 “Whoever receives one of these little children in My name receives Me; and whoever receives Me, receives not Me but Him who sent Me.”

Gospel mindset.

An alarming observation “In place of gospel preaching, this "new-and-improved" variety of Christianity was substituting for amusements. *The preacher* warned ........." (more to follow)

Renewed mindset on greatness.

Luke 9:46-48 (NKJV) 46 Then a dispute arose among them as to which of them would be greatest. 47 And Jesus, perceiving the thought of their heart, took a little child and set him by Him, 48 and said to them, “Whoever receives this little child in My name receives Me; and whoever receives Me receives Him who sent Me. For he who is least among you all will be great.”

From first - to last - to least = greatness.

Renewing our way of processing.

Romans 12:2 (NKJV) And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind,

But... Who really wants to be last - aren’t we working hard  in order not to be last.?.

Have this mind...

Philippians 2: 5 Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus, 6 who, being in the form of God, did not consider it robbery to be equal with God, 7 but made Himself of no reputation, taking the form of a bondservant, and coming in the likeness of men.

Philippians 3:15 (NKJV) Therefore let us, as many as are mature, have this mind; and if in anything you think otherwise, God will reveal even this to you.

The great, become great, by becoming least, and stay great, by remaining least, after becoming great. 

1 Samuel 15:17 So Samuel said, “When you were little in your own eyes, were you not head of the tribes of Israel? And did not the LORD anoint you king over Israel?

I offer you a secret to contentment.

1 Timothy 6:6 (NKJV) Now godliness with contentment is great gain.
